Shigaraki ware (信楽焼) is one of Japan's six ancient kilns, with a history spanning over 1,260 years. Originating in Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture, the region is known for its rich and high-quality clay, including the heat-resistant and insulating kuro-mime (black mica) and shiro-kawa (white feldspar) clays. The natural beauty of Shigaraki ware is celebrated for its rustic and unrefined texture, embodying the wabi-sabi aesthetic cherished by tea enthusiasts.
When used for coffee cups, Shigaraki clay offers excellent insulation, keeping your coffee warm for longer. The porous nature of the clay subtly retains the aroma of coffee, enhancing its flavor over time. What is Return and Refund Policy?
All items are non-refundable except default or damaged item. We will not refund on any items that have been purchased over 30 days and without any email notice. For default or damaged items, please photograph the box, packing and damages and email us immediately. We will refund in 3 working days through Etsy Payment system. Do not throw the package away or any items until notified by us.
What is the International Delivery arrangement?
I ship every order within 3 working days via Hong Kong Post standard ~ e-Express service with tracking number. Your item will be normally arriving within 7-14 working days. You may trace the tracking on Hong Kong Post tracking system and your local office when the parcel is arrived to your country.
What is Local Delivery (in Hong Kong) Arrangement?
I ship every order within 3 working days via SF Express Courier. Delivery takes 1 to 2 working days. Please kindly double check the delivery address and it's a MUST to leave your phone number for shipment. Please ensure that you have installed the SFHK APP, the pickup notification function in the APP has replaced SMS messages.
